HYLTON-FOSTER BILLIARDS HISTORY
This tournament started in the 1950s and is a handicapped billiards competition. It is named after Harry Hylton-Foster MP who was Conservative MP for York between 1950 and 1959. Until 2000 the competition was funded by the Faber Shield but in 2001 Tayrol Ltd became the sponsors. Since 2002, the Hylton-Foster Billiards has been sponsored by Hair Flicks.
